Personal Summary:
I have been a passionate sportsperson all my life.
I was a cross country, athletics and swimming champion throughout my schooling years and represented Bay of Plenty in hockey.
Moving into gym based training was a natural progression into adulthood.
In 2000 I began training in Muay Thai, including an in fight competition in Thailand. In 2009 I trained and competed in my first corporate boxing fight. The experience truly ignited my passion for boxing and fitness and I decided that I wanted to change peoples lives like I had experienced. I signed up to a personal training course at AUT and have also completed short courses and a graded paper in sports performance nutrition.
Once I fell pregnant I decided to start my own post-natel fitness business and I ran bootcamp style sessions for new mums with their bubs. I continued my own fitness journey by participating in half marathons, full marathons and body building competitions.
More recently I have become a certified Counterpunch Parkinsons coach and an accredited Prosfit coach, working with Parkinsons and Prostate cancer communities.
I am a qualified Life Coach incorporating all of my fitness experience plus lifestyle coaching to motivate and support others reach their personal goals. I would love to be a part of yours.

Pat Swann

Personal Summary:
Coming from a sports and fitness focused family I was naturally raised around sports as a young fullah.
I proved myself to be an all round athlete in all sports I tried. From being the sportsman of the year, receiving sports awards throughout high school to player of the year in my football (soccer) club to playing for the Counties squad, making my way to the Schools of Excellence hosted by the All Whites. I’ve given it all a go from netball to cricket, football to rugby, athletics to swimming, capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts) and many more.
Playing football in my younger days I represented Counties Manukau for 7 years straight. Football was my first love. After knee surgery in the mid 2000s, I found I needed to find another replacement for sports and found a passion in health and fitness.
I found a way to give back by using my sports experience, my fitness plus health knowledge and skills as a side kick to help combat the Black Dog (Depression). These tools were picked up through my own mental health journey plus my work with suicide awareness and mental health groups.
That journey led me to complete my qualifications in 2020 with NZIHF in Auckland. On gaining my qualifications I went straight into following my passion. I opened my garage gym to the public, established my brand in 2019 which I still carry with me today. I started working with amazing people from many walks of life, cultures and fitness levels to help them achieve their health and fitness goals, while being the ears for a chit chat and a cuppa.
Boxing and kettlebells are two of the main tools among others that I integrate into my sessions and I love to train amongst the Grit and Grimy types of bootcamps.
My goal is to spread as much of the health and fitness blanket as I can, especially to those who may be facing hard times, battling mental health or taking that first step into a gym. It's a judgment free zone for all. If this sounds like something you’re keen to roll with, reach out, I've got you!
